It was a rather bright and hot afternoon in Kumartoli. I had always wanted to take pictures of the statues of Ma that they make so beautifully but trips to Kolkata are always so packed. Luckily, this trip lent me a small window of opportunity and my cousin @bothra_anu took me. Unfortunately I couldn't find my groove and I wasn't just able to take the pictures I wanted. My eyes were desperately seeking a subject. I was close to giving up when just after we turned right, a few meets ahead I spotted this beautiful child behind a slightly ajar gate. And that was that.
